What we collect

Three things, and nothing else on this site.

• What you send us through the quote form: your name, company, phone, email, the property suburb and type, your handover date, the approximate area and what needs to be done, plus any photos or documents you choose to attach.
• What your browser tells our analytics: pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location by city, device and browser. This is aggregate traffic data and it is not used to identify you.
• When you call the number on this site or in our ads: a call tracking service records your phone number, the time and length of the call, and which page or ad led to it.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, to do the work if you go ahead, and to know which parts of this site and our advertising are worth keeping.

• To answer your enquiry, assess the space and prepare your quote.
• To carry out the agreed works, if you go ahead.
• To measure how the site and our advertising perform, in aggregate.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies for analytics and advertising measurement. They do not identify you to us by name, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.

• Google Analytics, to measure traffic and which pages are used.
• Google Ads, to measure which ads lead to enquiries.
• You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on Google publishes for it. Blocking them does not stop you using this site.

Who else sees it

The suppliers who run the site and the tools above. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for anyone else to market to you.

• Google, as the operator of the analytics and advertising tools described above.
• Our call tracking provider.
• Our website host and the service that delivers form notifications to our inbox. The host also stores any files you attach, each behind its own long, random link that is not listed or published anywhere and is sent only to us with your enquiry.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records, including any files you attach, are kept while the job is live and for as long as we need them for tax and insurance records afterwards. Analytics data expires on the retention setting of the tool, which is a rolling period measured in months, not years.

Access, correction and complaints

To ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, email info@absprojects.com.au or call +61 2 8015 5229. We answer in writing, and we do not charge for it. If you are not satisfied with how we handled it, tell us and we will put it in front of the directors.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not backdate.
